  • received his training at the Art Center in Los Angeles; trained in industrial design

  • studied with Irma Cook

ART RELATED :

  • owner of “Woodcraft” a woodworking business

  • worked as draftsman and architectural illustrator for area architects.

  • worked for Spartanburg architect Harold Woodward

ORIGIN:

  • North Dakota native

  • Was in Los Angeles for 5 years

  • Then went to New York where he was drafted

  • Came to Spartanburg by way of Camp Croft. Stayed after WWII when he married a "local girl."

PERSONAL:

  • was involved in the Spartanburg County Historical Association

  • fishing and hunting as favorite hobbies. (1961 calendar)
